It's time for our first RAMPAGE REVIEW! October 29, 2004.
This was the Halloween issue (as denoted by the orange and black color scheme). Halloween is the best holiday, so it was nice that the Rampage broke from its normal green and white.
PROS:
- The picture of Walden carrying Ashley Brennan. Priceless.
- The "NYC trip" article. That's cool, and actually interesting.
- The "Homemade movies" article. Again, it's interesting.
- "The Sims 2" article. Video games are good.
- "I really don't think my belly button is that offensive." Senior Carl Hauck
- "Campaign 'for the kids' may be too late." I'm glad someone noticed and cared about this issue. VOTE YES FOR THE KIDS you f***ing bastards. I actually saw a sign yesterday along 120 that said "Vote no for District 46." I wanted to burn that house down. These kids are going to lose everything. Vote yes. *deep breath*
- The "Unjust ban of food" article. Just the other day I was told to put my bottle of gin away.
CONS:
- The typos (like "pricce" on page 4). There are many. Mortal Kombat is spelled with a K.
- Along with typos, the grammatical mistakes.
- The logic-- "It seems that every year she puts on the same basic decorations. The great part about her locker is that each year her locker grows in style." (13) "Every year at GCHS the computer policy seems to change, either something is added, or taken away, which can be good and bad." (5)
- No picture or mention of the Powder Puff Cheerleaders, when they were obviously the best part of Homecoming.
- No mention of the glow stick fiasco at the dance, when glow sticks were taken away from students (having just been thrown to them by the DJ) for no stated reason.
- "Team America" contains crudeness?!?! No way! I thought the South Park guys were the holiest of holy.
- "Release of 'Star Wars' DVDs rake in dinero" ...no comment.
- "Students participate in several non-school activities after school" News flash! And hey wait...I don't see any mention of smoking, drinking, or getting high! This article isn't true to our student body.
- "Dress code policy hypocritical, needs to be enforced equally"
- The conclusion: "I believe in individuality, and I feel that the current dress code interferes with our rights. I am trying to prove a point, that the dress code is totally hypocritical and needs to change." Wait...I'm lost...what was the point again? Does it need to be enforced equally, or does it need to change?
- "Well, I figured that I would test this rule, and wear a chain wallet to school. For the full day, I walked around, with the chain dangling from my side, just waiting for a comment from a security guard. // Just as I thought, I wasn't questioned once. This proves the point I am trying to make. Why are some dress rules enforced, and others are not." Yeah....
- There are, at least, 15 extra, unneeded, commas, in this article.

Sam Householder:
I just wanted to say under pros the BADASS pictures from football. But I
might be biased.
